Our money comes from a range of sources: grants, student sponsorship, donations and fundraising events.

We currently spend most of our money in Malawi. This is divided between student fees, allowances, equipment and monitoring visits. We start sponsoring students in Uganda only in November 2011 so this proportion will increase in the future.

We make every effort to keep the money spent on UK administration to a minimum. We have one part-time staff member and all our other workers give their time for free. Other expenses include the online donation system and publicity material. We invest money in fundraising events because the return we get from them covers the expenses many times over.
