Meet some of our students

Manasseh

Manasseh is the first born in a family of six siblings. He is from a village in Rumphi district in the northern region of Malawi.

His father passed away when he was young. His long-term goal has always been to become a nurse because he wants to help people, “People die due to poor services and I want to help bridge that gap”.  During his first year at university he was struggling to pay for his fees, but the university allowed him to continue on to second year.  Since he was still struggling, he was told that he would need to drop out of university and re-register when he had sufficient funds.  He is the first nursing student to be supported by Medic to Medic.
