How to Help

Donate old laptops, medical equipment & medical books

October 14, 2015
We aim to provide all our students with the necessary allowances and equipment they need to study optimally.

During their training, we aim to supply each of our students with a laptop, (should we have the funding to do so).  If you are updating your laptop and would like to donate your old laptop to us, please email us to arrange donation.  We can only make use of fully functioning laptops and we ask that you delete all files from your laptop before donation.

We aim to supply all students with an equipment pack, which includes: BP cuff, pen torch, stethoscope, tendon hammer, tuning forks, tourniquet and thermometer.  Additionally, our hope is to supply our students with a selection of medical textbooks including: Oxford Handbook of Clinical Examination and Practical Skills, Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine, Oxford Handbook of Tropical Medicine, Oxford Handbook of Clinical Specialties and a British National Formulary (BNF) Many people contact us regarding book donations.  We accept donations of Oxford handbooks that are editions from the year 2005.  These books  are most useful for our students working in Malawi.

If you would like to donate any medical equipment or books to us, please email us on to arrange donation.

Please be aware that the books are very costly for us to send and store, and whilst we welcome donations, they do pose additional financial and logistical challenges which diverts our time away from our main charitable activities.  Please assist us with these challenges by dropping the donations off to us directly and either becoming a regular donor to the programme, or making a one off donation of £40 or greater so assist us with direct financial costs associated with transporting equipment.
